Very best wishes for Mollie - I'm sure it's just a temporary set back and she'll be firing on all cylinders again soon

Re: Please send positive vibes to Mollie!!

I'm sorry to hear about Mollie....I know exactly what you are going through as we are in a similar position with our horse. It's a rollercoaster ride with conditions such as these. What I have found is there are good spells and bad ones. Keep positive and take the vet's advice and another good spell will be round the corner

{{{Hugs to you and Mollie}}} x

Re: Please send positive vibes to Mollie!!

Poor Mollie, sending her and you ((hugs)). Ben, our lurcher had arthritis and spondylitis. He was on long term metacam, which was excellent. He also had a magnetic collar, which I'm not sure made any difference tbh. Last year his walking became quite bad so he was referred to a specialist for an MRI. This showed a deterioration in his spine and a 'step' had formed between the vetebrae. The specialist operated which was successful. Sorry, not posted this to alarm you, but it might be worth asking for a referral. I hope you are insured though as the MRI alone cost £800! Good luck!

When she was diagnosed I asked about surgery for nher, but the vet said there really is nothing they could do, because she has hip displaysia as well, she is now 7....She seems to be a lot better, until now she was not even on painkillers, so hopfully the metacam will work...

I agree with Nae - it's hard not to worry, isn't it? I've got my fingers crossed and I'm sure she'll be ok.
