Re: Daily thread Friday

I'm glad Chester's breeder is being so responsible. It isn't fair on mommy cat and there is a risk of infection to the kittens with lots of strange people handling them. My kittens are just over three weeks old now and no one has seen them yet. It'll be at least another week before they are allowed visitors

Now you've made me feel guilty about seeing Bentley at 10 days! ....but I did put on clean clothes and scrub my hands.

Gosh DM, that wasn't my intention The breeder allowed you to see them and you are very sensible. I'm sure everything was fine.

Ooooooh DM I can't wait to see pictures of Chester! Do let us know when you see him - like you'd dare do otherwise

Nice day here, need to start giving the house a really deep clean as Matt's parents will be here on Monday and Canis-Equus and her boyfriend will be here Sunday-Monday for my son's birthday. But can't be bothered - not feeling up to it yet. Might need a very early night and a lot of sleep so I can catch up before starting on it tomorrow!

Various parts of my body are peeling for no apparent reason, like my ear Not sure what that's about

Still, better get on with the laundry and all the other stuff I need to do today! May not have the time to be on over the weekend, so if not I'll see you all on Tuesday.

Re: Daily thread Friday

Went to the ante-natal consultant this morning . . . all is well and have been now deemed a low-risk pregnancy. We're both pleased about that! She was talking about birthing centre etc . . . noooooo - I want pain relief and drugs

My friend (who lost her cat a month ago) came round and we had a coffee and a good chin-wag. It's so rare I spend time with friends and I really enjoyed it!

Now Domi is napping after a healthily huge lunch, and I'm catching up on work emails and on here weather is sunny/cloudy but distinctly chilly. Cats are kipping all around me but that's coz they want to be let out. It won't happen coz I don't want to stand outside in the cold watching them!

Re: Daily thread Friday

Had a bit of a busy week this week (hence me not posting much over the last couple of days )

Had a lovely lunch out with the OH today (both had today off work) at a restaurant we went to many years ago but it was very poor then, it has been taken over and completely refurbed and it was VERY nice (although a tad expensive). Did a bit of gardening this morning and I am off out in a min to do a bit more. I will update with a few pictures

Have a good evening everybody
