Re: My daughters gone to hospital

Excellent thinking on your husband's part, and so good that the pool had cold water in! I'm glad she's ok.

Re: My daughters gone to hospital

Thanks all for your kind words.
John is very sensible & quick thinking in any situation. Where as me... well I would not have been as quick to dunk her. I hate it when they get hurt & when she broke her leg last year - I couldn't even go to her as she was screaming so much (ouch!) But John was straight there & straight away thought to give her some pain relief before we all headed off to A&E.
Anyway - all is well & the little McDonald eating munchkin has fallen asleep on my bed now.

Re: My daughters gone to hospital

Now I know the full story - she got the kettle full of boiling water & took it to the pool - stepped in the pool with one leg to get the water in the pool & thought if she pours it at arms length in a big circle it will make the whole pool warm as she started to pour the whole lot just slopped down the back of her leg. She's just gone to the hosp again for her 2 min past 10 appointment(10.02)
