Oh for the days of Tesco clothes for the kids
Sports clothes are the worst for price - I walk in to CJD sports then walk back out - I think ooo that's nice till I look at the price - then I have to leave it on the hanger - but at least the are made well that's the onlt thing -and trainers - the less said the better

Re: Dad's Idea Of Shopping For Clothes

ryan is getting to the point where he wants sports clothes, and none of this giorgio stuff. He wants addidas, umbro, nike, reebok etc.
You can pick up some great bargains in sports world and soccer world, theyve both got some good sales on at moment, it does cost a lot to kit them out in sports gear, but it's all they need really at that age. And theyre comfy and hard wearing.

Three days running the kids have had thier arsenal kits on, I have to wash n dry em overnight each time lol. They dry quick acutally, so another added bonus. And they definatly give little un's the cute factor.

Re: Dad's Idea Of Shopping For Clothes

I am lucky with my son. He doesn't like all the sports gear and actually asked me not to buy him a baseball cap as he "doesn't want to look like a chav" (his words). He is only 10 but he has his own ideas of what he wants to wear already. He seems to like to be a bit different

Sign of a good upbringing Nic - can I call you Nic?

I do like sports clothes - but - some people give other sport clothe wearers a bad name -

I think sometimes sportswear can look agressive (when the kids have skin head cuts, piercings etc) but Ryan and Elliot have such sweet little faces that they just look cute

Re: Dad's Idea Of Shopping For Clothes

Yes you can call me Nic Bengal Babe Everyone else does Don't know about good upbringing I do my best but refuse to let them turn into chavs that all look the same in their tracksuits and baseball caps. What's wrong with a bit of individuality? My kids tend to prefer jeans and trendy tops (don't have to be a brand name). Everyone always comments on how smart they look so I must be doing something right.
CKGs kids look great in their little kits too
