Re: Sometimes I just don't like that cat :(

Emma, know you're sorry about the little rabbit, but Arthur is just doing what nature designed him to do: prey on small mammals/birds...he is a well-loved well fed house cat but cannot help reverting to his natural instincts. We all grew up on tales of Flopsy, Mopsy & Peter Cottontail & can't help but like little bunnies. Tell poor Arthur that one of the Catpagers still loves him!!

Hey, Mags, I'm not whooping it up for "nature, red in tooth and claw"!! I just can't get all that upset...I've had field mice come in the house in the Autumn three times (that I know of) and Leia got them all!! I was mildly sorry for the mice, but praised her to high heaven & told her what a GOOD cat she was!! I'm not really hardhearted.....

I still love him infact I never stopped. Arthur you're a good cat.

Oz used to catch and kill rabbits, never keen myself but once he discovered he couldn't get them through the catflap he seemed to stop.

Re: Sometimes I just don't like that cat :(

Oscar used to bring all sorts in, one of the noisiest was a half dead CROW he also brought home live Koi Carp which I returned to owner and kittens he used to bring kittens back if the she cat dwn the road had kittens (which she did often) but she wasn;t well looked after the kittens were constantly being played with by young children. I think Oz must have felt sorry for them and brought them home for peace and quiet He was "done" many years before that, so he wasn't responsible.
