Its just a friend of my Mom's had a siamese and whne he was about 10/11 months old he managed to get himself covered in something "can't recall what" and had to be shaved at the vets to remove it. When his coat grew back he was much darker and she said "his adult coat" could be wrong.

Ys thats right Dawn Sebastians coat got richer in colour too, he looked stunning when he was 4-5 really stunning a proper - Tom cat although he had been done. But he was for certain King of his road and many other roads too.

He is my first Seal point, I knew they were dark, but surprised just how dark Casper has become..Although he is still gorgeousHis back is very dark as well///

From what I remember from when I had a sealpoint, both temperature and age will cause their points to darken, also the back.
