That's a huge difference Moli....you've done a good job there!
Those roots are awful aren't.....break them and they still grow again Have you still got a patch to clear under that flowering shrub?

It has to be cleared right up to the pink flowers Mags, trouble is there are shrubs growing amongst it all...

As its raised at the back, had thought of rockery, with tall plants at the back.. not sure yet...

You've made a really good start though, and as Yola said, gardening is very satisfying when you can see such dramatic results.
