afternoon all, been out went to a bootfair, didnt buy much,DH bought yet another pc, hes been pulling it to peices in the spare room boys n their toys LOL

Hello everyone. Well, my American friend left today - and in a way I'm glad, because we were staying up late and getting up early, and may have had a wee bit too much to drink in the evenings, too

I'm getting accustomed to thinking of Sweep as our cat, even though he's still completely free to roam he sleeps inside every night and comes and goes during the day. Secretly I can't wait until I can clean him though

He's very skinny, especially if you see him next to Ninja who is lean in a healthy way. It's quite shocking really, and I'm considering giving him kitten dry food to see if I can fatten him up (he will eat wet but so little he might as well not bother).

been to the mayfest today a huge fair type thingy lol with my mates it was great.

Pelting rain here today and high winds too Managed to get into town and stopped off in ASK for a pizza. BIG mistake. The girl serving us was in a foul mood, half our order was wrong/missing AND we were asked about 6 times whether we were 'enjoying our meal and everthing was alright' . . . well it's was a blasted pizza not a gourmet experience - I just want to be left alone to enjoy me meal not pesterered for compliments every 5 minutes

To top it all, when we ordered desert the girl virtually threw our cutlery on the table and just dumped Dominik's ice cream half way across the table from him. She then also virtually threw our bill on the table when we asked for it.

Hubby lost it big-time. He demanded a credit note for the whole meal . . . to be honest I would've settled at makind a fuss, but he was livid. The manageress was no more than a kid herself (was tempted to ask her to go and find her Mum as we wanted to speak to a responsible adult, but that was a bit mean) and she really had no answer for the truculence of her staff. Shame - we've been going there for about 5 years without as much as a single problem.

Anyway - came back and enjoyed an afternoon in front of Sound of Music!!!
