No, that's just the feline mind-set of "what's mine is mine and what is yours is mine too!"

They may of course search out foodstuffs beneficial to them if they have a deficiency, but I doubt your lot has any such thing.

Cute srory & pics! Cats shouldn't eat dog food on a regular basis, but a bit occasionally won't hurt them, any more than the occasional people food treat. I may be mistaken but I believe it's taurine that cats need; lack of it may cause blindness.

when my first dog ben was about we also had a french lop eared rabbit, now ben was part grey houng, but him and max (the bunny) where great pals, they used to sleep together n everything, my neigh also had a little girl bunny called smokey, sweet little thing, well there was smokey out lose in her garden and my ben and max in my garden, well they all mey up at the fence, and max thought im in love here, but so did ben, so max looked him up and down and bit ben on the foot as if to say paws off mate shes mine

u just had to be there to see it happen was so funny.

When we had two cats and a dog it was really tricky stopping the dog from stealing the cats' dinner. The cats, however, would never dream of pinching the dog's food, they'd have considered it way beneath their dignity!!!

Great story, it created a lovely image in my head. The photo is brill, they look really good friends.

Caleb often steals the cats food, I have now started to put their food under the table so he can't get it. Sasha was under there waiting for her dinner this evening!!!
