Just back from my GP. Good news, it's not just in my head (thinking of fostering a few of Jac's voices there to fill the void, though, if she'll let me), it's not early senility. Just a simple post-viral fatigue syndrome. She prescribed working only half-time, cutting down on my walking, doing no fitmess-training or other strenuous exercise and getting plenty of sunlight. And after we'd both stopped laughing, I've promised to do less, not walk eight miles a day, not do more at work than I am at the moment and pounce on any and all sunlight that manages to break through the usual Scottish clouds. Rover won't be best pleased that his lunch-time walks are cancelled. : / Hopefully with that and a low GI diet (have to look into that now), I won't feel dog tired all the time, and will get some of my thinking-capabilities back. You have been warned... ![]() |

Best of luck, Hreow - fingers are crossed here. I've got chronic pain issues that keep me from sleeping properly and am almost always tired, it's a complete drag so it'd be great if you could solve it! And, you know, if Rover tuckers you out I'm always willing to give him a temporary home... ![]() |

![]() Constant pain that keeps you awake is... exhausting. I tried that with my lower-back hernias. I prefer this - at least I get to sleep. Mags - we've had great weather for the past weeks, so neither Rover nor I can complain at the moment. That's probably the end of it until April, though. ![]() |
