Vaguely related to which other two? At the moment I'd guess either a curly coated retrevier (don't think they are rare though)

Kleine was the rare breed, the other breed is well known - their names might give you a clue as to their place of origin - Logoes

No Smudgley, although I did have a BSD, a Groenendael, but his name was Oscar - think of a short coated breed . Logoes
