Re: Daily thread - Saturday

Not been online much over the last few days - sorry x

Took my daughter to a football trial this morning and hairdressers this afternoon, we now look like twins again LOL (hair all straight).

Party this evening x

What a day - it's been so hot, no sign of any rain yet

Our foster cats went today, we'll miss them terribly

Still got a houseful of pets though 7 dogs, 7 cats, 2 rabbits and 1 fish

Re: Daily thread - Saturday

Just back from the Cat-show. A whole row of Abys this time, so tough competition. Rover got a third in the Open, and a first, a second and a third in the side-classes. Was boiling hot, though. First time I've arranged for a fan for a short-hair. Cory was well out of it, the Persian-aisle was the hottest - and they're not exactly dressed for the desert...
Won't go that far again - Both Rover and I are well and truly knackered.

Congratulations to Rover! And you too; bet you're both glad to be back home .It's still hot & muggy here; thunderstorms predicted, some heavy, but no signs of them as yet. Sounds odd to say we need rain after the 16 inches that fell 2 weeks ago in a matter of days, but everything has dried out; had to water the plants in pots on the patio (whoops, alliteration!) Leia is stretched out full length on the porch airing her tummy & looking for a breeze!
