Re: Music?

Re: Music?

My music tastes are a bit like Lukes . . . varied. I love opera and classical. I also adore most Jazz . . . even the 'cat running up and down on the piano' kind of jazz is growing on me

Being an 80s child (well an 80s teenager ), I adore most from that decade, right from the post-punk of Jam/Clash through Gary Numan and similar electro/goth and onto some of the 'big hair rock' of Whitesnake, Rainbow and Heart. Mustn't forget the ska revival of Madness, Specials and the Selecter. I also love The Smiths/Morrissey and some of the newer guitar bands such as Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters etc

The only stuff that doesn't float my boat is R n B or soul or garage-y type noise.

Hope that's comprehensive enough for you Darylle

Re: Music?

Not for me Dabs . . . I just never got into them for some reason. But I'm liking them more now . . . maybe I just wasn't mature enough at the time

Re: Music?

Re: Music?

Probably easier to list what I don't like. That would be what Yola calls 'cat running up and down on the piano' jazz. Other than that just individual songs/noises, no broad categories. I've got a very good memory for what I hear, so i can't listen to anything over and over again, though. If I hear it two-three times it stays in my head. Ten-eleven and it's on repeat play for days and I climb walls.

I'll dance to anything.

Re: Music?

Don't you just hate it when you get a song stuck in your head and it just WON'T go away....
