No, I've not seen the Mississippi - it's on the list of places to go before I die. Guess the biggest I've seen in NA would be the St Lawrence. An amazing part in Montreal, where there was actually about a 1' step in water levels as various currents met. And hearing how, in the olden (but not so olden) days, in winter, when the river froze, they would throw rail track over the ice and drive trains over!

We also took the train down from Albany to New York city alongside the Hudson.
Did you find the Stour? I think it's big enough to find on google!
