Re: Friend or Foe????

I don't know if adding a male kitten would help or not....Dandy was here when Leia came. As I said, both of the females got along very well with him...someone to play with, groom, sleep with, etc., while they continued to ignore one another. You might want to think about it.....

Re: Friend or Foe????

Looks like an unhappy tolerance situation to me. I am no expert but I remember how long it took the Diva to tolerate Bernie. Its still pretty much at tolerance level but every day there seems to be a little more fondness between them. They still dont curl up together but side by side aint bad and Bernie has been here a year this week end.
Sorry I can offer no real advice xxx

Just a thought but you may like to contact Wizz. She is a lovely woman and has helped so many people, including myself, with respect to animal behaviour problems etc.

Re: Friend or Foe????

Thanks for the link Elaine. Its the usual advice but not always that practical.

I cant stop one cat from using one tray and get the other cat to use a different one (one each). Dont know a way round that one.

Re: Friend or Foe????

It might help to actually contact Wizz and discuss it all with her though. The way I see it is, that each case is different, just as each cat is different, what gets printed on these websites are normally basic guides which will work for some but not all.
I know its very frustrating and patience is wearing thin at times. I really do wish you all the very best and hope you can find some resolve. xxx

Thanks Elaine, sorry to sound so negative. but I will compose an email tonight to the lady to see if she is willing to offer any further advice.

Just got back from the vets and the bunny is well enough to go back to outdoor living so that is one step in the right direction (if that is in fact another factor that is stressing Chloe).
