Wednesday!
Glad they're rushing
No Sunday roast at youor house then Mags - you should hint that it would be nice to go out for brunch or lunch

(I'm sure I told you of my first Sunday roast after we were married? Shoulder of lamb and roast onions and potatoes browning up beautifully, lovely smells through the flat, BANG! ..... that was the glass inner door (remember them?) on the brand new cooker, exploding into a million little glass shards into our dinner . A really distinct memory from the last millennium )

Re: Breakdown...grrrrr

I remember the glass doors DM, I was always concerned about how safe they were What a shock for you just starting out in married life ....... I bet you OH began to worry about your cooking !!! Just joking!

I can still use the second smaller oven on the cooker but everything seems to take ages to cook in there after being used to a fan oven....

Re: Breakdown...grrrrr

DM - I have a glass door on my smeg range cooker thingie. The outer plates shattered TWICE since I've had it - most scary as it goes with a huge crash/bang

Having said that - sounds like the gremlins jumped on the intercity and got off in Reading; my blasted boilers up the swanny again
