Hi, all! Sunny and chilly here; off to the library as usual to change my books; just messing around. Onyx wasn't there when I went to feed her! Called and called, and LO! She appeared up the street and came: maybe she's beginning to recognize her name, or maybe it was the plate I was brandishing..?? Still can't get near her... Jac: sorry you're missing Blue; hope it will be soon that you cn be bsck together! Akex: any good books in thsat stack to recommend?Have a nice evening, all...

I'm reading one by Tanya Huff 'blood price' It's about a PI and a vampire! There is a series of them so will have to visit the local library for some more. What type of books do you like Eileen?

Re: Daily shred Sat

Like mysteries & suspense, phychological thrillers, police proceedurals, some sci-fi. A few favorite authors: Elizabeth George, Deborah Crombie, P.D. James, Ruth Rendell, Scott Turow, John Grisham, Bernard Cornwell (historical, not his sea stories), oh, the list goes on and on!! Not into vampires, i.e.Anne Rice. Love to read; have always, as my Mom once said, had "my nose stuck in a book" ..! Changed avatar again; this one is a boy and looks very much like Dandy!!

Well, if I come across any of a similar genre, I will give you a 'shout', lol! I love those style of books too, Tanya Huff is a new direction for me, but it is more like a mystery and suspense tbh than a vampire horror. The vampire in question is actually working with the PI. Quite good actually.

and love the avatar.
