Hes gone back outside again but I'm not so worried I think he sees this place as home now - he ate loads of food and gave me a big cuddle - so its all good

Emm. so glad he's back! But if you really don't want him going out, you could always barricade the cat flap the way Mags did when Cassie was doing her escape act ! .......

Cats are anything but daft - they know which side their bread's buttered. I do think though that once a cat has been used to going out they will never be completely content at being forced indoors and I don't think it would be fair. They are independent creatures, which I admire but I think now he has found you he won't be in any hurry to get lost
