Re: Daily Thread Thursday

I decided i would NOT give in and get up and start doing things...i drifted off at about quarter to eight and was awoken by a rather heavy and foolsome springer who decided walkies hadn't took place so of course i must be dead, therefore he HAD TO climb all over me and sit on ym face animals!!!
Still shattered...the headache is still there, dull but everlasting! I've given the dogs a quick razz around the fields..didn't stay out very long and shall make up for it later..but i vowe to do nothing today..amm too physically tired!!

Fran...i've actually heard of siams and ori's coming into call younger than eight months, they do tend to sexually mature earlier. Gosh meezers are loud anyway....in call, Doesn't bare thinking about!

Re: Daily Thread Thursday

Vet's just phoned.
He is really pleased - all Min's bloods are within the normal range, so the drugs/diet are holding her kidney issues completely at bay. Whoopee!!! He says maybe she's just has a virus or something fleeting and she's on the mend now. So, we're fine, back again in 6 months for a check-up.
(Sorry this conversation has landed in daily chat rather than cat chat or health )

Re: Daily Thread Thursday

Great to hear Mins ok DM!!
Really blowy and grey here, some dark clouds passing overhead so will see if they drop on us or not. The girls had an award assembly this morning which the parents go to. The teachers have to pick 3 kids from each class to receive them, one for literacy, one for numeracy and one for behaviour. Hayley actually got the one for behaviour!!!!!Being in the nurture group has made such a difference in her the last few months. Raechel received one for behaviour AND literacy, the first time that 1 child in the school has received 2 awards at the same time. Very proud mummy had a tear in her eye, lol. My little niece is being released from hospital this afternoon, and she has to attend a chest clinic for the next few days to monitor her, but at least she will be home. Hope you all have a good day.x

Re: Daily Thread Thursday

Really glad Min's ok DM!

Day's going ok here. Mat's third day back in work, and also his last until next Friday. Can't wait for him to come home, I'm physically not doing very well today and just want to crawl into bed and go to sleep, but Random's not back in school till Tuesday!

The kittens are doing very well, pretty soon they'll be up and about and into everything... Adorable little balls of fluff they are! The firstborn ("Noel") is huge compared to the other 3, still, but they're all growing very well as you can see from the pictures I added to the litter thread today.

I'm very tired, didn't sleep well and in a lot of pain, so will probably sit here zoning out!

Glad Mini's fine DM. Heck - I'm glad she's better than even you hoped for

Got caught in a traffic jam back from my Mum's. Thought is was the usual prang but was v surprised to see 3 horses galloping down the hard should the wrong way down the motorway with 3 police cars in pursuit all going in REVERSE!!

They were heading back down towards the M25 so I hope very much they caught up with the horses before then.

The daft cat/bat is still sitting in the carrier., looking happy as anything. (I have opened the door! ) We've been back 4 hours! I did put a Snugglepad heater in it, there's cosy vet-bed, but she has the same bed-opportunities here as a matter of course. Poor old nit - maybe it's just feline Alzheimers?

Horses on the road It's terrifying. I remember one occasion on the single lane each way A38, with 2 big horses and a little one absolutely thundering along. Totally terrifying. Luckilly everyone was flashing and tooting other vehicles, so all the cars were dead slow/nearly stop but we were still frightened of getting a hoof through the car window. Eek

Re: Daily Thread Thursday

Glad all is well DM. And that you got back safely Yola.

I shouldn't worry about it DM, Cleo has spent almost 24 years avoiding the cat carrier running when it appeared when about 4-8 but since last Autumn she has decided its an ideal place to take 40 winks now it lives on the floor in the spare bedroom with a couple of blankets in it the other night I must admit I did get a hot water bottle out and put that in in case she decided it would be her sleeping place - maybe she's a little spoilt? Maybe they with age they have decided we we mean them NO HARM.

Re: Daily Thread Thursday

Snoof - so sorry you're feeling so bad. With a small child and tiny kittens it's something you certainly don't need. Take it easy girl
