Laptop, tea and bag-of-endless-good-books. (and my survival-kit if I can smuggle that in, or order it from the laptop. Fishing, diving, cozy fires and climbing the tree (This *is* a classical deserted island, is it not?) will be required for my mental health.) On second thought - don't think I can do restful island life, so better make that rope, axe and paddle so I can get back to the busy, cat-slave life I much prefer. |

Solar powered laptop with high speed broadband connection and automatic updates for every future technical advance. So that gives me mail, radio worldwide, movies, music, etc etc. Sounding good already! And I'm sure there's talking books there too, so I won't ask for a library and will get used to listening rather than looking. A comfortable bed, of whatever type - luxury tempur memory foam, sphagnum moss under the stars - don't care as long as it's comfortable. A promise that I will never be cold, either by permanent fab weather or wind and weatherproof clothes and footwear when required. Sounds good doesn't it? I'll find native fruit and the means to set up a still or something and that'll be perfection!  |

On my  I would like ............ 1) A comfy bed complete with mossie net..... 2) My comp so I could find out how the rest of you are doing  3) A pile of Sudoku books...... That's assuming there will be food and liquid refreshment available  |
