is his story anywhere on the board? was wondering how he ended up with FIV?

JB - His mom was FIV positive & although it's very rarely passed on to offspring, he was one of the unlucky 10% that it happens to.

I only get to do radio interviews promoting Guide Dogs I'm afraid. But we might try & do a newspaper article about him. He's been here since 8th November. It's no life for a young kitten growing up, he should be chasing feathers & climbing curtains, not sat on a shelf all day looking lonely.

he is really tugging at the heart strings. im not very clued up on FIV-can he live with any other kitties at all? or does he definately need to be the only cat in the house? my two are boys and both house cats, just not sure if thats ok or not

He needs to be an only cat or live with other FIV's - although the risk is very small that he'll tranfer it to yours, it's not a risk I would be willing to take & wouldn't expect anyone else to....plenty other cats to tug on your strings though
