The stores always get a run on milk, bread, and of all things, toilet paper whenever a decent snow is predicted...it has become such a local laughingstock that one of the TV weatherpersons has what he calls the "Bread-O-Meter..like a thermometer thing, so if it's a moderate snow, it might show 2 loaves, a really bad forecast (
panic!!!) ..would be 6 loaves...you get the picture. As you know, I was born and raised here, and it's always been like this...people from really snowy places like Maine or Minnesota laugh at us,,,embarrassing...
