It's horrid here too. The rain has stopped but the winds are awful. I'm dreading my 20 minute drive home from work, as it's along country roads and there are always trees blown into the road when the winds are like this. Can't wait to get home and put the heating on!! |

Oh my word, look at that shed! I've been driving a lot today & I must admit the M6 was scary at times, I felt the car pull a couple of times when a gust of wind got behind me. A man in Bridgnorth was killed when a tree went through his car, he was the director of B'ham airport. A lorry overturned causing severe delays on the M42. & 5 of our fence panels have blown down at home. |

Looks like you all have had a pretty horrendous day, hope no one has had any damage... Been very calm here today...Calm before the storm perhaps!!! |

Best advice is to stay indoors tonight unless you really have to go out My sympathies to all those who have suffered structural damage .......... hopefully this gale will subside very soon |
