Feeling nice and warm here, central heating on and a purr machine on my lap!  |

It's snuggly here too, despite the old, draughty sash windows. Heating's been on all day and I lit the fire mid afternoon so the whole house feels very cozy. Storage heating's rubbish. It was the only heating we had as kids and even sitting on the radiator all evening only marginally dispelled the cold  |

Like Yola I have old drafty sash windows; even though I have gas hot water heating (radiators) the front of the house is always chilly! The back room (Jungle room!) is nice and warm from the sun; spend a lot of time there, but the computer is in the living room, so I'm in layers of clothes! It was -3C and wind chill of -8 when I got home at lunch time! |
