Re: How they've grown

Emlyn's beautiful - just stunning. Looks a lot like my darling Balie, only thicker fur and orange eyes rather than Balie's green/grey.

But don't they just look like gremlins when they're babies . . . with their odd little flat heads and all?

Alex - although I love all cats dearly, I will always love persians just that little bit more - probably because they get such bad press (hard to care for, sickly, aloof etc) which is completely unjustified.

Re: How they've grown

Now see, I don't understand why people think that about persians! Okay they take a bit of grooming, but I find it so pleasureable sitting grooming my cats, and I've found them to be very affectionate cats, loving nothing better than sitting on your lap! Alright, I hit it unlucky with Teddie and the sickness part, but I wouldn't say it was the whole breed (just the breeder, ggrrrr). OH and I have both said that any future cats we get will be rescues, and I know that there are plenty of rescue centres for pedigree cats as well as moggies. I would always now have at least one of each!

Thanks everyone. I love all cats but Persians will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Re: How they've grown

oh wow they are truly gorgeous.
When i got Flossie they told me she was x persian but up till now i have doubted it but now as i look at the grey one is that emlyn? I see so many similarities in him and Flossie.
The colourpoint one is absolutely adorable and doesnt look very much like a persian at all on the photo.
You must be so proud to have bred such wonderful babies Kat.
