Re: BBC breakfast Friday

whoops - sorry for the confusion girls.

I'm at work again tonight - that's twice in one week I've done an overnight duty. The BBC are coming here at 5am to set up, ready to film live. No I won't be in it I'll be making a sharp exit. No idea what it's for, obviously a GD theme to it.....actually I'll go & look at the e-mail about it.

Fran - no, I have no pups

Re: BBC breakfast Friday

Taken from an e-mail about the filming tomorrow

Below is a good outline of what Breakfast would like to do on launch day of the BBC Breakfast Guide Dog of the Years Awards at Tollgate.
Friday 23 March - BBC Breakfast
The exact times will be confirmed much closer to the time but I predict..
They'll need to be on site from 0500 and be shown around so they can decide where best to film - just as we did in Guide Dog Week - so they can start planning where the presenter Chris can stand / which angle the camera should be at for the best possible view etc. However, as it's going to be very cold outside so early in the morning - I suggest inside puppy block for first few hits?
There will be Chris Hollins the presenter, an engineer tbc and cameraman tbc, plus lthe producer Carolyn Bodley and little old me! We'll finish by 0900 and the crew will move out.
Live filming...
Headlines - 0600, 0630, 0700 and 0800
Promos - 0615, 0645, 0715, 0745, 0815 (some but not all of these)
This just involves Chris the presenter saying he's at the breeding centre and showing/holding a puppy or two with other pups in the background
Main hits at 0640, 0740 and 0840 - (This is TBC closer to the time as things are always changing with the news agenda BUT... If not it will likely be 0620, 0720 and 0850)
For the main hits Matt needs to be available any time from 0545/0600 onwards.

I saw the interview with Matt at 0650 (ish) but did they have a more indepth feature later? I had to relinquish the TV after that

I saw an interview with Matt at about 8 am Yola, not sure if it was the one you saw but repeated or a different one? At the end of this interview they fed three puppies from three bowls which had labels on for the different classes you can nominate the guide dogs for...
