parcelforce - stupid delivery man

Well, I've had a call from Parcel Force!!

I sent my complaint letter by recorded delivery yesterday with photos of the damage done and they have called to admit liability!!

Apparently the driver has admitted doing it and even the man that called me said that he can't imagine why the driver decided to do it, but he did.

So, I'm just waiting to hear from the cat proofing company as to how much it will cost to replace three of the brackets, then I can tell Parcel Force.

Plus I want reimbursing for the inconvenience!!!

Time/labour cost to take off old brackets and put new ones on
Stress factor
Registered post letter cost

Parcelforce and I have reached an agreement of £75.00 for the damage. I should have the money by the end of this week. Fingers crossed.

Although, now that I have decided I'm moving I might not repair it where I am, but just wait until the new house - as it will all have to be taken down and re-erected anyway!!!

But, sssssssssssssshhhhhhh - don't tell Parcelforce!!!
