No, they actually grow new bodies. Clever but not nice to the cat or dog it's attached too. If you dont get then, they drop off, live on the blood they have in there sack then re attach to either a dog or cat that passes. They can live in carpets ect.

I have just used Spot On on the dogs and cats, it kills ticks as well as fleaS...

ill be hitting PAH on tuesday, mean while im combing through them everynight with a nit comb. ronnie loves a comb, reggie hates it, and as for the dog have a fight on my hands.
