Re: Daily Thread/Wednesday

Oh Alex, that's superb news about Raechel . . you must be one proud Mummy

Weird weather here today - overcast, cold, sunny, warm, raining, windy all mixed up together! In the office for more panics . . . I think the boys are getting very stressed as I have hardly any time to spend with them. I'm hoping that all will be sorted soon but there is no sign of another suitable member of staff at the moment.

I'm also terrified as during the 2nd part of July 2 more people are off on holiday so there will be only me n OH + 2 part time telesales blokes here. AND I will have a new au pair to train up AND Dominik will have finished school so added time pressure of packed lunch preparation - yikes

Yola what's happened to Louise? I didn't realise she had left/was leaving.
I hope you find someone good quickly.

Luise was only meant to be here until end of June - back in Jan/Feb that seemed like an age away but now it's only 10 days!!

I do have another girl, Johanna from Austria coming on the 4th of July to join us until September (at which point Sebi goes to nursery). But Sebi's totally unfamiliar with her and she with him/us. He's a very clingy baby and won't let anyone other than me, Ken or Luise near him - so I think we're going to have a very stressed baby for a while

Re: Daily Thread/Wednesday

Bit of a topsy turvy day here weatherwise........a lot of cloud, a glimpse of sun every now and then, a few drops of rain....and windy! Oh for those long sunny days again that we had in April!

Not a lot happening here, may try to get out in the garden this afternoon......it surprising how the weeds flourish after a drop of rain!

DM
~ I hope the weather brightens for your holiday in Devon next week...

Alex
~ That's brilliant news....well done Raechel.....you must be a very proud mum! DM asked what the 3rd good thing happening for you could be ........maybe winning the Lottery tonight???

Yola
~ Try not to get too stressed out re work and au pair .........remember "Que sera sera" - 'whatever will be will be' ...

Have a good day everyone!

Afternoon all

Been out today with my friend its her Birthday. Came home to find I won a competition to a Tattoo Convention this weekend I am supposed to be working Saturday, but its open Sunday too! Ticket is worth £30 so ashame to miss it, maybe Martin will have to go alone, it can be used both days.

Out later for a drink, been very windy here today, but no rain x

Wooo hooo for Raechel! What another piece of good news from your house, Alex! May it continue!
Cloudy and overcast this morning; we had much needed rain overnight without the thunder and lightning; much cooler! Was 96F yesterday, down to 71F when I got up. Have done the marketing and am about to go feed Onyx...I combed her again and she still doesn't seem to have fleas!! Enjoy the rest of the day, all!

This will look very good when it comes to applying for schools in September!
Ooohh Alex, i think i went on one on of those courses but it wasn't in the summer holidays and it was when i was at primary school or the private school cant quite remember when lol!

Very well done Raechel!

Re: Daily Thread/Wednesday

We've had a very strange day weather wise. Woke up this morning with the rain. It was that loud!
This afternoon the sun was out and the temp was 22.5
After tea thunderstorms with lightening and hail. What is going on with the weather?

Had a lovely meal with Mum and now I'm hear .

Yola, I hope you dont get too stressed with the Au Pair situation. If she's nice the wee one will be fine with her. They really do pick up on "good" people.
