It is good to hear they neuter kittens before rehoming, I wish I could convince either my rescue or their vets, but am surprised they haven't found a vet to do them younger. |

I think it is much better for the kittens to get settled in a home at a younger age. I aslo think 12 / 14 weeks to neuter healthy kittens is too young. Glad they are all doing ok. |

I agree Smudgeley. I think they have enough to contend with with having weaning, vaccinations, leaving mum, settling into a new home and then neutered on top of all that. Besides they havent even had time properly to develop. Male cats can take months before their testicles drop so how can they be neutered properly when their testicles arent there makes me wonder Sarah x |

Sarah - some vets will only do early spay on females for that reason. 3 of the local rescues to me all do early spay though, one has been doing it for about 14 years now with no issues from it. |
