Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

Lovely warm, sunny day here today (a few threatening-looking clouds but I'm not going to look at them!) Last day of term, loads of farewell presentations to those moving on to other schools or retiring (that'll be me next year ) I'll have to go back in to finish off some of the sorting-out, but other than that, 6 weeks of idleness. Bliss!

Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

Quite warm, overcast and muggy today; 50% chance of t'storms this afternoon (eeek! even though we need rain!). On my usual market run; think I'll skip gardening and take it easy. Onyx is waiting on the porch steps for lunch; Leia is upstairs in the hallway where she gets a cooling breeze.

Whiskey; good to see you back! How's the beautiful Daisy?
Alex: well done to the girls!
Jac: hope the babies are improving,,,,,
All: have a lovely day!

Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

Ended up roasting today as I was dressed for cooler weather which then warmed up dramatically. Another slog of a day at the office and now at home after having bathed both kids AND cooked dinner. OH has wheel-spun off in a strop - good riddance. Gone are the days when I would cry over this.

Will finish up my dinner, spend a bit of time here, grab a book and settle down for 1/2 hour's relaxing read.
