Keep smiling Charlie, don't let her see that her nasty comments affect you ....... you have more to look forward to than she has...

Deep down I wouldn't be surprised if she is secretly jealous of you moving on ......why else would she react so childishly... She may not even have the guts to make a job change like you!

As others have said, count the days down and keep smiling ......you are doing her a favour by working longer than your notice period, if she can't appreciate that...... tough!

The time will fly in - if it were me I would be extra cheery that always annoys these types of people and I would put my feet up on the desk and do stuff like this - what are they going to do - sack you? LOL

I wondered about going sick, you could tell the doctor you feel depressed??

Alternatively, just tick the days off, they will soon pass, each morning you go in is a day nearer!

Kim! That's pathetic! Doctors are supposed to be there to help ill people get better, not to give extra holiday!

I am young and fit(ish) but she is kind of making me depressed. It's not like me not to want to get out of bed in the mornings. TBH I have been thinking of excuses I could use not to come into work - that's how strongly I feel.

I know it sounds like a cop out though and I should stick with it and show her that I'm the bigger, better person and I won't let her make me feel like crap.

I think my mum would say the same as you DM!!!!

Say 'fed up' not depressed. Depressed is 3 foot of water through your house and a sick granny or similar.
But don't let her grind you down - beat her, and the fed up feeling. That'll cheer you up!
(and she'll be away some of those 23 days on her holiday, won't she?)
