Re: daily thread - Thursday

Well it's still pouring down here and water has almost reached the middle of the road..... We have a drain right outside the front gate but it doesn't appear to be carrying the rain away fast enough. Oh.... happy days!!

I think I'll start sorting out my holiday gear this afternoon.......... wellingtons, mac, couple of brollies, plastic rain hat ( do they still make those??)........

DM, I think you'll have to give me your recipe for green tomato chutney....can't see them ever ripening!!

Not sure Mags but I saw some very pretty shower caps in Morrisons the other day, perhaps you could make do with one of those

Re: daily thread - Thursday

Just got indoors from cleaning out the bunny mansion!!! Wind and rain - felt like I was struggling through a storm!! Bits of hay flying around the garden, hair all round my face, tarpauline blowing all over the place!!

Bet I looked a sight!!

Re: daily thread - Thursday

was worried about kuan yin's first leukemia vaccination yesterday since i worked at a vet and know some animals are particulary sensitive and may experience an abnormal reaction. she slept a lot which i expected and was hiding under the bed. after about six hours i took her out for some mommy inspection. she cried like it hurt when i picked her up and her body started trembling like a big spasm. then she started walking funny which i was hoping was just because of some soreness due to the injection site. my bf found me passed out in her room when he got home this morning because i decided to stay with her all night. this morning she is back to being a holy terror but i will mention it to the vet at her next vaccination. our house is being painted and there is a ridiculous purple primer all over it..i actually kind of like it...LOL. here's some pics of what i woke up to today...
