So pleased he is well on the mend.
I'm stuck (like poor Jaffa) with the litter. Kind of thinking of some vaseline on his fur but the litter would stick to that too.
Lets hope it's a very temporary problem and you can keep on top of it just by washing/picking it off.

Maybe only put the litter in the pen for short periods when you can supervise and try to minimise sniffing?
Anyway, that's a minor problem compared with being hit by a car. Poor boy.
