Check out websites etc - you should be able to find out when it's due. Our local BBC weatherman gives us a heads up each night - what time and whereabouts to look in the sky. It was very high last night, moving W to E

oooh that would have have been amazing!
what an experiance those astronauts must get - I would absolutely love to go into space and look back at our world - or sit on the moon and see what earth looks like from there

I'm probably too far north to see anything - plus its thick clouds here right just now- has been for the past few days.

In January though I saw a large comet! I looked in the sky and was omg either that is a comet or we are about to all die from a meteorite hit I did a bit of research and it was a comet Amazing it was the biggest I have ever seen - and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time - I looked at some astronomy forums and a few people had been waiting awhile to see it but weather conditions weren't right - I felt a bit guilty that I got such a good view for no effort

Thanks so much for that link! It mention The Sky at Night mag I think I might subscribe to that. A few nights ago we had a very clear sky where I am there are very little lights so we can get a good view of the nights sky - and there was a planet - not sure which one - and it was sparkling the most amazing colours - red, blue and gold - very beautiful

Re: Daily Thread Saturrday

Jac - do you remember about me wittering that my son had become very cat-allergic and that I was thinking of getting one of these air scrubber/ionisers? http://www.myairzone.com/
Well I did (but the b*gg*r still didn't leave the floods and come and stay for a few days! ). I read through the blurb and found it says it promotes good sleep. Was sceptical but have had it working in the bedroom for the last 2 nights. First night - fairly normal, slept to about 5.30 (usual for me these days I'm afraid) but woke feeling fine. This morning I slept to 7.30, which is amazing. May be coincidence, i don't know.
I wasn't going to post until I'd had more experience and Mags returned. I'm sure if there's a chance of it working she'd be in there. Ther is a 30 day money back trial, so it might be worth thinking about for you, especially if it will reinforce the smoke-stopping and save you money in the long run.

Thanks for the link DM. I'll see how it goes tonight. Must admit I'm shattered. I think I got about 2 hours sleep and then had the weirdest dream. (another side effect I'm afraid) I'm not giving up on the tabs though. I'm down to 5 a day. I'm on day 5 and they recomend you stop between day 8 and day 14.

Aww bless. I can picture her Erin. My old dog Sasha had to wear a buster collar. She would scrape it off the door frames and get caught on the corners of furnature . I hope Tink doesn't have to keep it on for long.
