Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

I got all exited this morning as the sun was shining . I thought ok washing done free up some space in the wash basket, it's hanging over the sides. No it looks like it's going to rain again now
Had a lovely evening last nigh. All my kids round. Even though I say it myself Sean has turned into a handsom man. He was bouncing last night so was suited up! Then Darryle had popped in just to hang out with his Mum and of course Ceilidh (she just loves her brothers) so all in all a really nice unexpected night.

Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Morning All

Rained in the night and its overcast and alot cooler today, which is a shame as I was just starting to top my tan up

Been out with the dogs for about 3 hours so their all shattered now and back to bed. Harvey fell asleep in his bed next to me but as he had rolled in allsorts of nasties whilst out and I was starting to heave at the stench me and the OH carried him and his bed into the garden without him noticing. I still keep getting a wiff of him so I think I might have to move him further down the garden

Happy Sunday everyone

Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Another beautiful sunny and still rainless day; the drought is getting really bad! It should be clear tonight so I can try to see the meteor shower, but with the City lights it will be iffy... have done the marketing and just planning another lazy afternoon with the Sunday papers, crossword and cCatsey! Onyx came on the porch briefly again; when I let Leia out she was sniffing very suspiciously....

Babycakes: glad you're feeling a bit better!
DM: where are you going on holiday?

Enjoy the afternoon, all!

Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Well, despite all the promise of rain there was only one, short squall. Food shopping and heap of ironing done and we had a lovely dinner out with OH's older son, whos birthday it was today. 3 little kids and 3 adults and it was a lovely afternoon/evening. OH's gone to bed with a bad sore throat . . . funny how it's always worse when THEY have something wrong with them I'm going to spend a bit on here and then off to bed for me too as I'm quite tired tonight.

Oh, and need to go back to the hairdresser next Sat. as yesterday's colouring was a DISASTER. Mouse city . . . need to be far more vibrant in colour to work for me
