That's very true DM ........ also you're only home for a couple of days and your holiday is beginning to seem like a distant memory

Re: Daily Thread/Monday

Dominik's 4th birthday today He got a wooden fire station (with fire men, fire engine, fire dogs, bunks, dining table, PC station), infact it's just a like a dolls house for boys!! He'd been walking around with the catalogue I bought it from for ages making everyone look at it ad nauseum. Still, he's one happy bunny and my Mum should have a quiet day with him - he'll be stuck into his fire station all day!

Had a bad night as Domi woke up screaming and I had to snuggle up in bed with him - so he slept soundly whilst furiously waving his arms and legs all night

More pressies from OH's mum and his step brother/sister this evening; and my Mum's been out and bought a cake for him

Re: Daily Thread/Monday

Afternoon, all, it rained last night!!! Finally...1.32", won't break the drought, but a big help. And more predicted today and tomorrow. But it has turned very chilly: no shorts and tank top today; it's only 64F, quite a shock to the system after weeks of high 80s to 90s!!! Funny how relative things are: if it made 64 degrees in February everyone would be saying how delightfully warm!! But it's downright chilly in August. Did my usual marketing run and won't have to water the garden today. Have a lovely afternoon, !

Happy 4th birthday, Dominick!!!
