Re: Treat

Depends on my mood, but a bath with lavender candles burning and a book or magazine is always nice.
So is a small bar of good chocolate
So are wine gums
A glass of Pinot Grigio, a few kettle chips and some olives, in the sun at 6pm takes some beating
A cup of hot chocolate with a little whipped cream and sprinkles on a cold crisp day

.... oh dear, nearly all of mine are food/drink related. What does that show, do you think?

Re: Treat

Going to the hairdressers is my little luxury too. It's a great salon; the serve wine while you're having your hair done (or the make the best latte!) and there are loads of trashy mags to read!! Fab

My other treat would be a dinner from M&S Food!!! I love their food, but only buy it as a treat and a splurge!!!

Re: Treat

Mags, I think she means the kind I refered to, OK, Hello, Chat, Heat and the ilk . . . (leastways I HOPE that's what she meant - otherwise there must be some rather um, unique hair salons up her way)

Re: Treat

I agree about the hairdressers. Such a treat for me to have a decent cut and colours.... maybe twice a year or three if I have the money.

It shows there are a lot of food-oriented people here ! Mine was food related too, and I agree about the Pinot Grigio and kettle chips 100%! How I would love to meet you and chat about cats and gardens while enjoying the wine and chips: you can have the olives, though: never developed a taste for them.....

Re: Treat

Mine would have to be a warm shower followed by a foot massage and a warm bed! ( given my recent hairdressing disaster)

Re: Treat

I've just been the hairdresser and I'm very pleased, trying to grow it you see, it is shorter but so much tidier. In my hairdressers you get a complimentary stress relieving massage with a cut and a hand massage with a colour
