Re: Dark nights

Seems to be getting earlier Brought the cats in at about 7.15 just prior to showering Dominik.

Still very warm out as we spent the whole afternoon in the park at sitting outside Carluccios but once the sun's gone it does cool down quickly.

You can tell it's September

Re: Dark nights

Everything is looking, feeling and smelling autumnal!
However, I was gratified watching the rugby from Bordeaux last night - the crowd was in shirt sleeves in bright evening sun at 8pm local, as we were pulling the curtains! So, roll on holiday but we will really spot the difference when we return towards the end of the month

Really??? That is very early isn't it? Many here are turning golden, having the odd leaf dropping off but no great leaf loss as yet!

That's the light starting to go here. I'll be putting the lights on shortly.

Re: Dark nights

It's going gloomy here at the moment, but not what I'd call dark yet. Probably another 20 mins to half an hour to go!

And there is quite abit of falling leaves here at the moment. It was very windy today so I really noticed them swirling.

Re: Dark nights

What's a scorcher in Edinburgh, Jac? It's already 87F here now and it's just past 3 pm .... made 90F yesterday; Summer is hanging on (thank goodness, I'm a hot weather person!)

Re: Dark nights

Not sure what it was today Eileen, probably about 22 or 23. That's a scorcher for here at this time of year. Nothing like your temps though.
