Well done to you both (and all the other volunteers) on all your hard and much appreciated work. It looks like a belly ring to me though more than a keyring? (I know that sounds silly) I was thinking that keys would fall off though??? am I being daft?

The little knob thing unscrews, then you add the keys and screw it back on; they can't fall off!
