Re: Hello :)

Thanks all .

Billy has had a bit more to eat and was washing himself just now and asked to go outside - he's sitting on the picnic table - so I hope this is a sign of improvement

Re: Hello :)

Update:

Well, he had been a bit sick and poopy early this morning (sorry if you've just had dinner), and seems a *little* brighter. A fur ball was involved, so we've given him a teaspoon of sunflower oil as we usually do when he starts the cough that indicates fur balls and that usually ensures they pass through without incident (he gets a thorough grooming every night but the odd fur ball does occur).

He hasn't been sick since 2am (ish) and has had a little bit of breakfast and another tiny yoghurt drink (I'm wondering if this started the 'system clearance' in motion?). He looks a lot more interested in things but he's still sleepy. No fever, discharge from eyes or nose and he will let you touch him all over and cuddle him so no obvious signs he's in pain. His chest sounds clear too.

If he's not his usual self tomorrow, I think we'll have a trip to the vet but right now I'm a lot less worried than I was yesterday. Thanks so much for the reassurance and advice you've given me. xx
