Re: Mad Christmas eve dash!

I made it!

It was madness but thankfully I got everything I wanted, well all but a trifle bowl. So just about all ready now, I just need a long hot soak in the bath I think then going to bake some mince pies and make the trifle. Still a few things to wrap, and a scooter to assemble.

Was a lovely day, 9 degrees so not too cold. Had to help my mum chop the veg ready for tomorrow so we don't have all that to do, picked up the turkey have just about managed to ram it in the fridge, it's like sardines in there now.

Took the dogs on an extra long walk so i'm not being pestered later with wet noses while i'm wrapping (which they and the cats love to help with of course! Colin has stolen a gift tag and is keeping it hostage in the bed under the shelf - which for some reason, all of the cats' think is a 'secret' place).

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you all have a lovely day however you are spending it.

xXx

Re: Mad Christmas eve dash!

Haha! Probably a bit of turkey from tomorrows dinner!

He's asleep on top of it now, full tummy of tuna too so I doubt he's up for swaps just yet. He'll probably end up burying it in the litter tray where most of the other toys end their lives. It was funny watching him, at first he was really proud of himself because he'd stolen it from the pile, then he started throwing it about the room and kept getting it stuck on his claws, so then he thought it was obviously attacking him back and he'd arch his back and sort of pounce sideways for a bit 'til it fell off.

So i've went and bought a whole bunch of toys today for the cats Christmas things and he's fallen in love with a gift tag. I think the bit of ribbon on it must make it totally irresistable.

Exactly what I do, Donna! You couldn't pay me to go to the mall or shops at this time of year!! Order at home at your leisure and have it delivered to your door...works for me!

Lol Random, Fizz and Colin must be related somewhere along the line, she kept stealing ribbons and ribbon bows from hubby's presents and goes nuts over them
