Re: Christmas Day thread

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you have a lovely day!
Sunny and 10 degrees now; had breakfast, opened presents and went for a nice long walk around the neighborhood to admire everyone's outdoor decorations. Leia and Onyx got toys and food; Leia adored her wiggly wagger catnip toy and got really silly with it...and .... my camera is not working!!! No pics.., will post a thread to see if anyone has any suggestions how to fix it!

Christmas dinner at the usual time in the evening; don't like a big meal mid day.

Enjoy the day!

Re: Christmas Day thread

Happy Christmas to Everyone!

Had our Christmas dinner at 3.10 (only 10 mins later than we had aimed for). It was lovely - had the best chicken ever! Mum in law and hubby are (I expect) fast asleep in front of whatever trash is on the TV - I'm getting very anti-TV in my old age (turning into my mother!).

As I lay awake last night I tried to imagine what it would have been like to have been at the stable on that first Christmas morning - it was indeed a peaceful thought and sent me back to sleep!

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day.

Love from Angie and Merlin
(who enjoyed the little bit of chicken he had too.)

Re: Christmas Day thread

Merry Christmas All

Cats got me up at 6.30 Managed to let my hubby sleep in til 8.30 but then I had to wake him up so I could get at my pressies Apparently I turn into a little girl on christmas day

Santa (Hubby) was naughty and didn't stick to our agreed budget for each other so I was completely knocked out by what he got me, he was really happy with what I got him too so that was ok

Had such a huge breakfast we decided to do Christmas Dinner in the evening so we are just waiting for it to finish cooking now, can't wait!!!! We are having chicken this year as all the turkey breast joints were just too big for 2 people. The cats will be getting a portion too

Hope everyone is having a good day and are full of food and happy with what Santa brought them

*hugs* to everyone and their furbabies

Re: Christmas Day thread

I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas Day

I'm just back from my daughter's with my son ....... unfortunately hubby was ill yesterday and this morning and I was going to cancel going altogether but hubby, bless him, insisted that we go and have a nice time as Sue and her family were expecting us. We had a lovely Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, played games with the children, had no time to watch any television. I phoned home a few times to check hubby was ok, he was, so we were all able to enjoy the day!

I now feel thoroughly bloated!!

I got two cat calendars, from different people, a bottle of wine and one of gin, a gift certificate at B & N (booksellers, yay!) chocolates. a really cute cat tea towel, plus toys and food for Leia and Onyx! And one yet coming from a friend who couldn't make it over. A lovely day!
