Thats what happened here yesterday Mags. It was too wet to lay though.

No snow here, just fog and drizzle, 7 degrees and a raw East wind! I was glad to get home from the market where it's nice and warm inside. No porch open for Leia today, and Onyx hasn't come for breakfast...forecast is for some sort of precipitation Sunday; they're dithering whether it will be rain or snow...No news here.

DM: glad you're feeling better; you must have a good strong immune system!
Fran: nothing like cooking/cleaning up by candlelight, is there? I hate power cuts.

No snow here in Hampshire but it's been a thoroughly horrible, gloomy, dark, wet day! All the pupils at school have been a bit hyper as they were confined indoors because of the heavy rain, so it was a bit stressful at work. Thank goodness it's the weekend! (I'd love to have some snow, if you don't want yours in the SW can you blow hard so that it comes my way please?)

Sleet here no snow its too wet for it to stick. Think I prefer the rain/sleet. Terrible weather though BRRRRR....Back from work and off till Monday.
