Jayne - Michelle Ryan (Zoe Slater/Bionic Woman). Young, energetic and funloving

Babycakes - Meryl Streep. Can't say why, as you're dark and she's blonde but there is something that says Meryl Streep to me . . .

Right, I'm off for a bit
Thanks Yola! Both classy actresses those ladies! (Unless of course there's another Angie about!)

UK DM - Helen Mirren. Ok, a bit older than our H, but that same balance of beauty, brains and pragmatism.

My brain hurts - will that do for now??
I am flattered, Yola! I got out of the movie going habit years ago, and after my third VCR died I gave up on renting also........ I'm embarrassed to say I don't know the actress at all.........

Re: Who would you choose for...

I think Elaine Stritch was bigger in the UK than the US; kind of made her name as the arcytipal (sp) loud American lady with big hair in the 70s/80s here. She did a couple of really good sitcoms and I remember her comedies from when I was quite young and being very impressed and amused.

But she had a great acid wit, and Mags, thanks for the link to that clip - excellent

Smudgely - hey, we're all good friends here - do tell
