Wet, wet, wet here ......it hasn't stopped all morning  what a miserable Bank Holiday weatherwise! I hope those of you up north are getting some sunshine!Cassie is sound asleep, hubby is into his newspaper and I've been baking ....... no point going out anywhere Sounds like you're having a busy morning Kazz!! Afternoon all, beautiful here, but very windy, was going to mulch my flower beds with bark, but the wind will just lift it!Need to wait till the wind dies down a bit... Taking the dogs up the woods later..... Have a lovely afternoon everyone.. |

Not as bad weather-wise as it was earlier on - gales and lashing rain. Sounds like other Catsey peeps have had similar! Going to try out my quiz questions on OH later on, but staying put today perhaps watch a DVD later on. A friend gave me Cinema Paradiso for Christmas, and although I have already watched the theatrical version, I've yet to watch the director's cut. Given up on the idea of going out for hanging baskets , it's just too wet and windy now. Nothing on the telly but OH is watching some documentary on History channel so he's staying put. Posh is in the window watching the raindrops and grooming herself. Nice life! |

What a horrid day!!! Gales and rain storms all day - even the garden has flooded areas.... Hope everyone has a better day - stuck indoors with housework here. Hope they catch the rabbit Kazz. |

Well I am back and just had a smashing bacon sarnie....got the idea from someone on here...  The weather is terrible given up on the idea of any gardening.....so staying on catsey and at the moment watching the sound of music............ |

I hate to say it but our Memorial Day weather is absolutely gorgeous: cloudless blue skies, no wind and already 22 degrees before lunch! And will be even warmer as the day progresses: I love it! As most of you know, I'm a hot weather person..... am barefooted now! Of our two big Summer holidays it seems to rain usually on Memorial Day and be gorgeous on July 4th; hope this doesn't mean a wet 4th! Did my usual market run and garden work: weeding, pruning, and waiting to see if the beans have germinated yet..they haven't ....the catnip is flourishing: picked some fresh for Leia and am drying some out in the sunshine for her.. Kazz: busy day! Hope the wayward rabbit is caught. Have a nice holiday all, despite the dicey weather! |

Grey and dismal here. A swim and then yoga this morning-England beat NZ and my study only looks a mess now after some serious work with a bin and hoover. I`m defrosting a duck for tomorrow but suspect it will not be slow cooked outside over charcoal and mesquite wood chips |
