What a fabulous acer Mags, such a stunning colour. We had one a few years ago and it just didn't do well at all! Maybe we'll try one again some day. I do love them.

That is gorgeous, Mags, such a vibrant color. Mine is still green, won't color till probably early November. Will take a pic for you when it does....it's about 40 years old and huge.

Can't wait - I have two. One which I mentioned above in a bit of a wind tunnel so I will move. The other is in a more sheltered spot but is a purple one that doesn't really turn in colour.

I do think they are lovely plants. Mine are 3 and 6 years old so, just babies really.
