Cake. Mmmm. What kind is it? Did it all work out OK? Can we have a picture of it so I can imagine nibbling it with my afternoon cuppa (I presume there are no nuts in it )? |

Mmm cake! I'd like to see a pic too On the rare occasions I am moved to bake it is usually a fruit cake - boiled tea cake to be precise - ar an apple cake. mmm, I love that one! Brrr, it's cold and nasty. We've been out for a change of scene and a bit of air but it's decidedly not nice. It was much more pleasant earlier in the week when it was crisp and sunny. |

Crisp and sunny here also, winds finally died down and looks to be a pleasant day. Still no frost in the City so plants are still outside, I tend to leave them out till the last minute and then grumble at how heavy the pots are and why do I have so many plants ...the fuchsia and agapanthus are in especially large pots.. Ah well ... Had a lie-in this morning as this is my grocery delivery day and didn't need to market. Paid bills and just putzed around. I remembered to take the dry food canisters off the counter last night, so Leia didn't have a change to knock them over and stuff herself...she's eating these days as if we're going to have a horrible Winter! I wonder if she knows something we don't...the acorn crop was very light this year; haven't seen a woolly bear caterpillar yet! Enjoy the day! |
