Re: Daily Thread/Saturday

Afternoon everyone, just checking in
Been in work this morning, OMG it was a shock to the system getting out of bed at 6:30 on this bitter cold day! I'm hugging the radiator as I write. I haven't warmed up all day.

Righto, gotta catch up on the house chores for a while then I'll come back and play

Re: Daily Thread/Saturday

Hi, all! We're having a one day warmup, already up to 14C and brilliant cloudless blue skies; back to normal chilly weather tomorrow. The forecast for Election Day Tuesday looks good...massive voter turnout predicted. Did my usual library run ...my book club selection not here yet! Maybe in today's post???? I too need to get a life, but I'm so used to not having one...

Chin-tickles to the three new Catsey cats; have a lovely day, people!

Afternoon! It's been raining steadily here for a good few hours and I'm not long back from my cut n colour. VERY pleased with it - the girl that does it was recommended and she's damned good

OH is in a filthy mood as is always the case if I'm doing something for myself and he has to mind the boys. I really do feel a major row brewing as I have a few things to air.

I don't watch x-factor or the dancing contest . . . Strictly . . . except I don't know the full name of it So in light of what might be to come tonight I suspect I'll be on here!

We haven't even hit first base in terms of the barney . . . boys have been around so just subtle sniping. They're in bed now

We don't really do kissing and making up . . . long story. Most here are used to our ups and downs, but many more downs of late unfortunately. Such is life

Oh I'm sorry to hear that Yola.

Marriage is such hard work at times

A glass of something white and fruity I'm sure will ease any tension
