Re: Daily Thread - - Sunday

Been for a long walk this morning and then took the girls to get 2 new goldfish. They are called trick & treat!!!!!

Just cooking a Sunday roast which consists of beef and all the trimmings followed by apple pie and
Custard. Sipping a lovely glass of chilian red whilst hubby gets excited for the grand prix.

Merlin has spotted the fish and think Christmas has come early.

Re: Daily Thread - - Sunday

Afternoon!
Had a cold and grey day so far, up early doing housework and cleaning out the fish then walked a little collie we have downstairs at the moment-a 'failed' sheepdog who's going to Border collie rescue in the morning. He's a lovely boy but never been on the lead, walked alongside traffic etc so it was slow progress. He loved being out though
New student nurse moved in next door so set up the flat with milk, tea, biscuits etc-all the essentials!
Cooking a roast chicken dinner later but OH working until 7 so won't eat til late then new series of Top gear starts at 8!

Re: Daily Thread - - Sunday

Afternoon, people! Got an extra hour sleep this morning as we went back to Standard time; hate changing all the clocks and computer time; wish we'd just stay on DST all year! It was supposed to be cloudy today, but sun is shining and it's up to 14C now, a rather pleasant day for my walk to the market...got a lovely crab cake for dinner tonight. Just chillin the rest of the day; should plant the bulbs that came yesterday but think I'll do it tomorrow instead ....

Elaine: gonna miss you; behave!
Matron: hope the fish are well out of Merlin's paw reach!
DM: dinner sounds yummy..

Hope the rest of the day goes well for all!

Re: Daily Thread - - Sunday

I never remembered how time consuming kittens can be you sit for hours doing nothing but watch them..........Sal's should appears to be a injury that worsens when you say "Aww whose got apoorly shoulder" all of a sudden she needs a crutch to walk.......offer her an apple and she is fit and fine...bouncing round the kitchen.Borught her a giant tennis ball tody from Asda...about football size.....not sure what she'll make of it but I imagine it will consist of barks...whines...and the odd broken plant pot by the end. The kittens are fine, everything in the World is good and had roast beef with spouts, carrots (of which Sal had one to) mashed and roast potaoes which were cooked in beef dripping....proper gravy..and of course mustard.Followed by homemade apple crumble......(where Sal got the apple from of course) this was made by Katie......in between playing with the kittens....and custard.....Sophie is making me a lasagne tomorrow........they like cooking. So a good day all round. Hope yours was as good.
